By entering this competition, participants agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (‘Terms and Conditions’). Please read the Terms and Conditions carefully and contact us if you have any questions at jayu.maa.1@gmail.com. Please be aware that failure to abide by these Terms and Conditions may render a Participant ineligible for the competition. 

Entry requirements:

This is a skill based competition and entry into the competition is free. To be eligible to enter, Participants must:

• Enrol in the Jayu Virtual Academy (www.jayu.thinkific.com) on or before Friday 1st October 2021
• Have access to Zoom and the ability to attend virtual class (or face to face, if they should recommence within the timeframe of the competition
• Participate in at least 1 live class per week (via Zoom or in the Dojo) between Monday 5th September and Friday 1st October 2021

Should a live class not be available for whatever reason, all students registered in the Virtual Academy will receive automatic completion of this requirement for the relevant week that a live class was not available.

There will be one winner of the competition, selected on meeting the minimum requirement of live classes and who is recorded to have logged the most amount of sessions on the Virtual Academy between 3rd September – 1st October, 2021.

Virtual Academy session count will be taken from data captured through the Thinkific platform in which the academy is hosted. Jayu Martial Arts Academy and its affiliates take no responsibility for any technical issues in this data and will not enter into discussions around data discrepancy. The winner announcement will be final.

Announcement of Winner and the Prize:

The winner will be announced on Saturday 2nd October 2021 via email to Jayu students, and on social media channels. 

The winner will receive:

• Digital Certificate
• Jayu baseball cap (one size fits all)
• Jayu Tshirt (subject to size availability)
• Jayu face mask
• Jayu stickers

Use of Personal Information 

Participants consent to the collection of their personal information by Jayu Martial Arts Academy for the purposes of conducting and promoting the competition. Personal information may include a Participant’s name, email address and phone number.  

Personal details beyond the winner’s first and surname will not be published in any way, and will only be used for the purposes of contacting the winner and distributing prizes. 

All data collected through the virtual academy will remain hosted on the academy under standard security protocol. Please see the Privacy statement within the Virtual Academy for further information – https://jayu.thinkific.com/pages/privacy

Jayu Martial Arts Academy will not disclose Entrant’s personal information other than as permitted by these Terms and Conditions, without your consent. 

Liability 

Jayu Martial Arts and its affiliates, along with their respective directors, officers and employees, assume no liability for any loss or damage suffered by any Participant including but not limited to any direct or indirect loss or personal injury suffered or sustained during the course of preparing, entering or promoting the competition, or accepting any prize, except to the extent such liability cannot be excluded by law.
